Holdem tables are rich in fish, but the problem is, they come with a much bigger short-term variance. That means, a rookie will stand a fair chance of beating you, even if he doesn’t know what he’s doing.
The luck factor will become a real problem here, and schooling (the teaming up of fish against a good player) will sometimes be extremely frustrating, as well.
The solution is to find yourself a few edges that work and push them time and time again, while staying true to the good old basic tight-aggressive strategy. Learn to deal with the luck factor, and do not tilt when rookies have you with your back against the wall on some absolutely hillarious calls.
